Civil Engineer 
Remote - US / West Coast 

Wireless and utility industry services provider, specializing in the design of wireless network infrastructure, is looking for a Civil Engineer to join the team in Orange County, CA.

Civil Engineer
The Civil Engineer is responsible for the preparation, review and stamping of engineering-related drawings and calculations, and other deliverables. Works closely with the design team to ensure a workable solution is enacted from the start of each project and provides review and engineer seal for construction drawings produced by the design team. Provides guidance and leadership for the design team, and interacts with customers as needed on technical/engineering related project issues.

Typical duties include (but are not limited to):
  • Preparation of drawing packages and load and wind calculations, for equipment which is to be attached to new or existing structures.
  • Preparation of site plans or other plan types, based on topographic data, site surveys or aerial data and imagery, as required by each project.
  • Self-performs and reviews/oversees the work described, and other similar work, as required from project to project.
Required Qualifications
  • CA Licensed Civil Engineer
  • Proficiency in structural calculations
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume industry
  • Experience with IBC/CBC codes as well as related codes (TIA, AASHTO)
  • Experience with analysis software such as OCalc, RISA 3D, TNX Tower, etc
Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensure in Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington or Hawaii is a plus.
  • Experience with utility structures such as utility poles, lattice towers, etc.
  • Experience in the utility or telecom sector is a plus.
