Kineticom is looking for a Project Manager to support AT&T CRAN work in Sacramento. This is a temp to permanent opportunity. 
 
The Project Manager is responsible for the outcome (success or failure) of the project(s) within the defined scope, time, cost, and quality expectations. The primary role of the Project Manager is proactive and concise communication. The Project Manager is required to understand the communication needs of stakeholders and expected to use Kineticom’ s Client Consultative Management style. This requires the Project Manager to 1) Consult with the internal Project Team before making decisions, and 2) constantly seek to improve the execution of the Project. Project Managers are also expected to implement Kineticom’ s Client Anticipatory Thinking approach. This requires the Project Manager to proactively anticipate project risks and communication requirements. The Project Manager serves as his/her team's leader; modeling best practices and demonstrating a proactive approach to issues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Mods, NSB or CRAN construction or Construction Project management experience leading Construction projects/programs of at least 4 years
  • ATT Turf contract experience
  • Develop and/or obtain detailed understanding of project scope and assumptions ensuring customer and management agreement
  • Develop and/or obtain detailed understanding of key project documents, including process flows, RACI matrix, critical path items, etc.
  • Develop and/or obtain detailed understanding of financial expectations of project (Cost)
  • Develop and/or obtain detailed understanding of execution expectations of project (Time)
  • Develop and/or obtain detailed understanding of quality expectations of project (Quality)
  • Collaborate with Safety Manager to implement safety requirements
  • Document all the above Plan
  • Develop a communication plan for project
  • Customer reporting structure and frequency
  • Internal reporting structure and frequency
  • Develop escalation matrix
  • Develop appropriate structure to manage finances in Kineticom’s Client ERP system
  • Determine required tools & systems to effectively execute project
  • Develop baseline plan for project execution
  • Review Kineticom’s Client Cycle of Success (COS) for application of Best Practices Execute
  • Lead internal team and partners in executing to plan
  • Proactively identify critical path items and work to resolve them prior to disrupting project plan
  • Maintain project forecast on a regular basis as defined and agreed upon with your manager
  • Monitor progress against plan identifying any potential deviations and develop mitigation plans accordingly
  • Update execution forecast on pre-determined basis, at a minimum monthly
  • Proactively communicate internally and with customer in a concise manner
  • Communication Plan -Ensure Project Team is fully aware of expectations and plan
  • Determine frequency of required internal and customer communications -Deliver customer reports on schedule
  • Deliver internal reports on schedule Control and Monitor
  • Engage Business Development in the event of a scope change post project launch
  • Document scope change internally and with customer Finances
  • Monitor progress against plan -Follow Kineticom’s Client financial expectations and management process Close -Reconcile project deliverables and financial accounts
  • complete Kineticom’s Client Cycle of Success (COS) outlining key learning and Best Practices
  • Perform all duties in accordance with the Kineticom’s Client Code of Safe Practices (IIPP)

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
CAPM -Minimum (2) years Project Management experience
Vendor Management
MS Office Suite (including intermediate to advanced level Excel)
Demonstrated track record of interfacing with customers
Demonstrated success in managing project financials
Ability and willingness to learn new technology & professional practices
Understanding and application of Project Management Principles (PMP)
 
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
4 Year College Degree
PMP Certification highly desirable
Understanding of Commercial Construction
Additional systems knowledge (ERP, AutoCAD, Visio, etc.)
