Summary:
Reporting to the Market Director, the Project Manager is responsible for delivery of a portfolio of projects within an assigned market, leveraging a cross-functional team of subject matter experts to design, engineer, build and deliver communications infrastructure.
Job Description
• Extensive customer interface experience with internal and external leadership teams, directors, managers and individual contributors
• Strong communications skills with a polished ability to communicate both formally and informally with multiple, distinct audiences, including internal teams, senior management, customers, contractors, and external resources
• Strong proficiency in MS Office tools, especially those related to data analytics (Excel, Power BI) and communications/collaboration (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Experience with project management software (MS Project, Siterra, SiteTracker, etc…) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with demonstrated success in project management, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• High degree of teamwork and customer service
• Ability to effectively manage multiple and changing priorities simultaneously
Job Functions:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•The full scope of PMBOK areas of project management practice, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, resource and communications management
• Manage the project on a day-to-day basis including the schedule, cost, and scope management to ensure projects are delivered on-time and under budget
• Provide leadership for the project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
• Develop clear and concise status reports for both internal use and customer presentation. This includes face to face meetings with customers in a formal presentation setting
• Work with project team to creatively and analytically problem solve issues and or eliminate risk
• Reporting to this position is the project team, with team size defined by the scope of the assigned project. The team may consist of a Project Coordinator, Construction Manager, External Relations Network engineer, Fiber engineer and Finance
• Travel within assigned region of approximately 25-40%
